I always wanted the clothes in Missing Monday to feel grounded and possible. The theme for Foyle's wardrobe was hand-me-down and salvaged garments that she alters or pulls together into her own thing. So even though she's tiny and Monday's huge, that long jacket is too big for her and thus still big enough to fit on Monday.

She also wears a lot of chunky hand-knit accessories for the same reason.
